Data Clarity’s 11 Year Anniversary

In January, Data Clarity begins its anniversary celebrations. Eleven years of successfully delivering a wide range of data-driven solutions. On January 4th 2011, co-founders Kevin Carrick and Dr Pana Lepeniotis decided to begin the joint venture. Their unique combination of skills, experience and ambition took them much further than they had initially expected.

But how exactly Data Clarity has empowered companies to focus on their business objectives through bespoke systems for over a decade? Our answer is continuous improvement and addressing challenges that our customers encounter daily. Every success is a part of a wider journey, and ours began with Clarity365. We developed a cloud-based timesheet, expense and absence software, a hybrid of accounting, time and expense management tools integrated in one platform.

Today, the portfolio demonstrates the breadth and depth of products with our flagship ClarityOmnivue, the complete Omni-channel and Master Data Management solution. In addition, ClarityOmnivue won a prestigious National Retail Systems Award in 2018, which gave us even more confidence that what we do is unique to us and instrumental to our customers. The most recent software development is an innovative ecosystem that supports operations in the Aviation Industry.

Customer Focused Solutions and Continued Successes

No business can thrive without customers. We had the pleasure to serve our loyal customers and win new business. We created a multi-tenancy booking engine for the UK leading home improvement experts to help manage them with significantly increased service engineer bookings. Another exciting commission was a mobile application for luxury holiday provider visitors. Our technology brought customers closer to their brand despite distancing restrictions. What’s more, Dr Pana Lepeniotis provided multiple projects for multi million pounds international organisations with Definia (a part of Investigo).

2021 had been a busy year, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. For almost 2 years, as with many organisations, we faced some tough challenges due to Covid-19. However, overcoming those challenges only made us stronger as a team and in business. Consequently, our team expanded onto commercial team and a development team in Vietnam. We’re planning to recruit more people to grow and become the UK’s most reliable software development house.

Last but not least, we’d gone back to our roots with Clarity365. The team gave our first ever product a revamp, and we completely redesigned the Clarity365 website utilising our in-house talent. The latest version of Clarity365 offers ease of use at an affordable price point. This cloud-based solution is for medium and large size companies wanting to manage their time and expense from one place. With the advent of remote working, we are convinced that our suite is one of the most relevant tools out there.

We finally came back to the offices and our CEO Kevin Carrick enabled It was great to reunite as we firmly believe that no technology is capable of substituting face-to-face interaction.

As soon as entertainment and events were back, many of our employees enjoyed attending the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone in July. The Friday agenda was an unforgettable one! Later in November, we invited our customers to a Tonga vs England rugby match and raised a few toasts.

Last but not least, we couldn’t forget the extraordinary achievement by our co-founder and CDO Dr Pana Lepeniotis for graduating his PhD in Business Transformation and Master Data Management. As Pana admitted himself that it was 10 years in the making, his academic achievement is the perfect manifestation of our vision of becoming the leading data experts.

Final thoughts

Let’s come back to the question of ‘what’s next?’. 2022 looks bright and well-rounded for Data Clarity already. We are in a strong position project-wise and product-wise, busy and excited about the positive impact our solutions could make on our customers.
